Mine is a bump head 20ft hyper tough but feed is so easy when line done just turn head opposite to line up holes then put 20ft of .95 line thru then twist to feed on head ..It easy for me to use ..

The scag is cutting a lot shorter than the toro look at how much dirt your cutting with it get a tape measure and actually cut at a true 4 inch’s almost every time the scag was bogging bad and your lifting the deck it’s nothing but dirt left

We run with guards off. Mainly for ditches, and being able to get into tight spaces for trimming. We may be a little over the recommended, but again that’s usually in ditches where we need to cover more ground. I’m going through year 4 with a 94r and a 91. I run rec fuel, the still ultra, and change out fuel filters and air filters, and spark plugs every spring. Other than cleaning the spark arrestors about once a month, that’s it. That’s all we’ve done.

It's about time someone else did it. Hustler had it locked down for years. I spent 4 years on the same Hustler batwing and loved it. Damn things NEVER broke down. Now I've got a Bad Boy and a Country Clipper and so far the bad boy needed an engine at 2,300 hrs (Kohler🤦) and the CC is still going on original everything at 1,900 Kawasaki. I'm sure it's pretty costly let's just hope it lasts as long as that hustler did because I think it had around 3500 or more hours before I changed jobs

i have used the golden edge blade for 5 years and use it to this day, the only thing i will say is that when you first use it will create a dust storm, but it does leave a very nice deep wide edge in the lawn

I would never buy electric. I get over an hour of run time at near wide open throttle on my Husqvarna. The biggest property I do would take a whole pile of batteries to finish the job. Whereas I can just dump more gas in and be back up and running in a the few mins it takes me to walk back to the truck. If I had multiple jobs that day what would I do with a pile of dead batteries. Based on their electric run time i would need 8 batteries to do that one job.

Man, people are seriously insecure about their deck size. I can imagine being able to fit that thing in around a bush. Where do you even put it. That'd be hanging out of most short sheds. And that's definitely not fitting in the back end of anything that hasn't had some serious work done to it. It'd take a pro to handle that and actually get the job done.

What kind of grass do you have? I have some spots in my yard (northern Ohio) that grass refuses to grow and your grass seems to grow right through blacktop, I need some of that type of grass!

One thing wasn’t mentioned is the 23 has a top loaded 3 gallon tank while the 24 comes with a side loaded 5 gallon tank. Big deal to me, thanks again.

moral of the the story: don't buy a ride on mower from the box store and ESPECIALLY don't buy electric riding mowers from the box stores.

What happens to the Batteries over the winter lay up? Ive had two failed batteries on drills in the past because i just didn't use them enough and the Stihl batteries are eye wateringly expensive. I'm sure electric would be good for a professional business with it being quieter for one and a business wouldn't mind buying several batteries and as they are being charged and discharged regularly tso hey would last longer, but Ive had my Stihl KM56-rc for 5-6 years and its just fires up straight away (after several months in the shed).

If you just want to punish weeds, this is perfect. But if I had a surface that needed rust removal and no angle grinder, I'd consider this product. It definitely keeps your hands away from the business end, where an angle grinder is a little scary.

The locknut needs to show a few threads of the bolt when tight. It appears that the nylon part of the locknut wasn't even touching the threads

Im a contractor in aus and I run fs 91R with bike handles . I have done the same job with and without guard and there is a huge difference in time. Long heavy sloped verge with guard took very close to 9hrs to complete and accidently bumping of the string which is unavoidable would cause me to go through about 4 times more string. Without the guard the same job only takes me about 5hrs.

All mowers aside, I think a video is due on tires for zero turn mowers that mow 1-5 acre properties,that can handle mud ,water, wetland hill slopes
